  1. Berlin is a largest city and a capital of Germany. Berlin is a world city of culture, politics, media, and science. Berlin is home to renowned universities, research institutes, orchestras, museums, and celebrities, as well as host of many sporting events. The city is well renowned for its festivals, diverse architecture, nightlife, contemporary arts, public transportation networks and a high quality of living. Berlin Hauptbahnhof is the largest crossing station in Europe and has operated since 2006. Skyline is a tv tower and highest tower in Berlin. Berliner Dom was destroyed in World War II and then it was reconstructed again and reopened for public in 1993. Statue of Alexander von Humboldt outside the Humboldt University. Siegessäule, The Victory Column is a monument in Berlin, Germany. Designed by Heinrich Strack after 1864 to commemorate the Prussian victory in the Danish-Prussian War, by the time it was inaugurated on 2 September 1873, Prussia had also defeated Austria in the Austro-Prussian War (1866) and France in the Franco-Prussian War (1870–71), giving the statue a new purpose. The Victory Column is a major tourist attraction to the city of Berlin. Brandenburger Tor, The Brandenburg Gate is a former city gate and one of the main symbols of Berlin and Germany. The Reichstag is the site of the German parliament. Berlin Wall is the big attraction for touristes.
