Swiss Food

  1. The Swiss cuisine is unique in its many regional influences from its neighbors' cuisine, including Italian, French, and German cuisine. However, the Swiss also have their own unique dishes. Switzerland was historically a country of farmers, so their specialties often incorporated potatoes and cheese (Rösti, Fondue, and Raclette), and also more exotic ingredients, such as chocolate. The four linguistic regions of Switzerland (German, French, Italian and Romansh (spoken almost uniquely in Graubünden Canton) each provide some special dishes, most of which can be found throughout Switzerland.

  2. Looking at the pictures, 5 out of 7 pictures looks like plain noodles without adding other ingredients, but with swiss preparation and flavour must be very tasty.

In India in the noodles we add souya-bean, chapped pieces of carrot, matar, boiled beans and small pieces of cooked meat( if U like). Along with noodles chutney is served e.g. pudina chutney. The taste is really very delicious.

The Gorkha people from India call the noodles dish as CHOW-CHOW or THUPPA and they have their own unique way of cooking. This chow-chow or thuppa is served with soup(made from vegetable or meat or fish or tomatoes). Great taste.

I love noodles but cooked in the indian style and yes with soup.
